Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough assessments of patients, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.

  • Develop and implement individualized chiropractic treatment plans based on patient assessments and goals.
  • Utilize various chiropractic techniques and modalities, such as spinal adjustments, manual therapy, and rehabilitative exercises.
  • Educate patients on lifestyle modifications, posture, ergonomics, and exercises to support their recovery and prevent future issues.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and document all patient interactions and outcomes accurately.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and address any additional health concerns.
  • Stay current with advancements in chiropractic practices and continue professional development through training and education.
  • Participate in community outreach and health promotion activities to raise awareness about chiropractic care and wellness.

Qualifications:

  • Doctor of Chiropractic (DC) degree from an accredited chiropractic college.
  • Valid chiropractic license and registration in Alberta.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a chiropractic role or related field preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of musculoskeletal anatomy, chiropractic techniques, and patient care practices.
  • Excellent diagnostic and clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and motivate patients.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.
  • Experience with electronic health records and documentation is a plus.
