Role Overview:
As a GuideWire Architect, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing GuideWire solutions to support our engineering projects and business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of GuideWire systems, delivering scalable and efficient solutions that meet client needs and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect GuideWire solutions, including PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter, to align with business requirements and technical specifications.
- Lead the implementation and customization of GuideWire applications, ensuring they meet performance, security, and scalability standards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, including business analysts, project managers, and developers, to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design specifications, and implementation guides.
- Provide expertise and guidance on GuideWire best practices, development standards, and integration strategies.
- Oversee the configuration, testing, and deployment of GuideWire solutions, ensuring successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges throughout the project lifecycle, providing innovative solutions and recommendations.
- Stay current with GuideWire updates, industry trends, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance solution design and implementation.
- Mentor and support junior team members, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is an asset.
- 8+ years of experience in software architecture, with a strong focus on GuideWire solutions (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter).
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and optimizing GuideWire applications in complex environments.
- In-depth knowledge of GuideWire data model, business processes, and integration capabilities.
- Proficiency in GuideWire Studio, Gosu programming, and GuideWire Cloud.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, design patterns, and integration methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Experience with project management and Agile methodologies is a plus.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset.
